Pupil Groups

Pupils from P1 to P7 take on responsibility for a specific Group.  Working with their class teacher, they develop a plan to bring about positive changes in the school and wider community.   Pupil groups meet on Friday afternoon every fortnight.

P1 and P2 - Eco Schools - developing the school grounds for learning and biodiversity

P3 - RotaKids - working with our local Rotary Club to support charitable causes locally and around the world.

P4 - Rights Respecting Schools Group - promoting the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child within our school and community.

P5 - Health Promoting Schools Group - developing positive mental wellbeing through a range of initiatives

P6 - Reading Champions - currently developing our Library space to promote and encourage reading.

P7 -  Digital Leaders - managing ICT resources and supporting themes such as safer internet use and ICT as a tool for learning. Also responsible for promoting safe travel and working with the Torphins Paths Group to develop safe routes to school.
